The Speaking Souvenirs
I recall the moments of my retirement farewell. Every gift has a story: The place, time, and long associations are filled with shared pleasures and achievements. Memories flashed out like a fountain. The pleasantries exchanged during lunchtime led to heaps of laughter and emotional connections. What a wonderful time of family discussions, kids playing together, jumping around, spreading the colors of the rainbow, and much more.
“A time traveller, I flip the pages of Ray Bradbury’s “A Sound of Thunder.” A swarm of butterflies draws my attention close to the window.”
